No. 5

heres the final piece for the music project i was doing [which follows the simple one i did a couple of weeks ago]...


originally, i wanted to ditch the video work and try to come up with some interesting still things; but changed my mind again after realising that brand-new awesome ideas probably weren't going to fall out of the sky a day before the hand-in deadline.
my main reservations on this are that some of the clips/effects i used worked better than others, and the overall effect was a little too messy. but all things considered, it came together pretty well.

i feel a little like i've completed this entire project without really having to come up with any solid conceptual ideas or follow the brief at all... but no one seems to mind all that much. also, i find working much less stressful when i'm just running through processes and seeing what happens, as opposed to constantly justifying what i'm doing and thinking about what i have to produce next.

ps] thanks to Adam for teaching me how to make vector graphics spin around like that.
pps] i suck at blogging and should probably post more stuff.

No. 4 ~ alphabet thing

heres the alphabet/summer project work i did at the start of this year...

i went off on a big tangent thinking about arabesque art and a bunch of other stuff, so you can't really see the alphabet connection on the finished piece [other than the patterns being made out of words]
but what the hey, i thought it was nice.
